The VVRC is pleased to welcome Dr. Christos Constantinidis as its newest Investigator.
Dr. Constantinidis’s lab’s overarching goal is to understand how neuronal activity in the cerebral cortex gives rise to cognitive functions. They address this question through designing behavioral tasks, acquiring experimental data via neurophysiological recordings and imaging, and computational analysis of the results. Their work focuses primarily on non-human primate models, but they aim to translate knowledge gained from these experiments for the benefit of human conditions in which cognitive functions have been compromised.
